What RSI covers at Quality Translation
Live simultaneous translation without being tied to a specific location
When a presentation is translated into several languages at the very moment , we refer to this as simultaneous interpreting – at RSI, this is done remotely. Our interpreters work from acoustically isolated hub studios or from professionally equipped workstations fitted with studio microphones and redundant lines. The process consists of these three steps:

The original audio and video feed is transmitted live to the interpreters.

The interpreters interpret simultaneously and send the interpreted audio back.

Listeners select the language channel they require in their browser or via an app.
The result: Content reaches your international audience in full, clearly and without any noticeable delay.
Remote Simultaneous Interpreting for today's more flexible requirements
Remote simultaneous interpreting has been an integral part of our portfolio since 2020 – at that time, we were among the first providers in Austria to consistently adopt this way of working. Depending on the format, we use the interpreting channels in Zoom or Microsoft Teams, or specialised platforms such as Interprefy, Interactio and KUDO. This ensures your event remains technically compatible, regardless of which tool your organisation already uses.

As RSI incurs no travel costs or booth rental and set up fees, the final cost is often lower than for a traditional on-site assignment – whilst maintaining the same high standard of language quality. Whether you’re planning a two-hour webinar or a three-day specialist conference with six language channels, you’ll receive a quote that reflects the actual effort involved. Furthermore, there’s no need for travel, which significantly reduces your conference’s carbon footprint – a factor that is carrying increasing weight in ESG reports.

Founded in Graz in 2009 by Simona Volpe-Adeoye, Quality Translation has been based in Vienna since 2016, serving clients throughout Austria from here. Further offices in Graz and Frankfurt round off our presence in the German-speaking world. For us, RSI is not a stopgap measure from the pandemic era, but has been a core service that we have deliberately expanded since 2020.
